A playful, horse-centred space for little humans to build confidence, connection and emotional skills.
In Grounded & Growing, children are invited to slow down, connect with the horses, and discover more about themselves through hands-on, experiential activities.
The early school years are full of big feelings, new experiences and growing independence.
Through grooming, leading, observing, playing and learning alongside the horses, children practice skills such as emotional awareness, self-regulation, communication, problem-solving and confidence.
The horses offer children a unique opportunity to learn through relationship. Rather than simply talking about feelings or social skills, children get to experience them, practice them and notice what happens—with a horse responding to their body language, energy and choices in real time.
Each session combines horse interaction with age-appropriate therapeutic and creative activities, reflection and plenty of opportunity for curiosity and play.
Children do not need previous horse experience.
Small group. Big experience.
With a maximum of four participants, there is plenty of space for each child to be seen, supported and genuinely engaged.
$425.00 for the program (6 hours total)

For kids who are growing into themselves—and discovering what they're capable of.
The middle childhood years are a time of growing independence. Friendships become more complicated, emotions can feel bigger, and children are beginning to develop a stronger sense of who they are and how they want to move through the world.
Curious & Capable uses the relationship between humans and horses as a powerful setting for exploring these skills.
Through hands-on horse activities, experiential challenges and guided reflection, participants develop confidence, communication, emotional regulation and problem-solving skills. They learn to notice how their own thoughts, emotions, body language and behaviour influence the relationships around them—including their relationship with a horse.
Rather than sitting and talking about skills in the abstract, children get to try them out in real time.
Horses respond to what is happening right now—and that creates a wonderfully honest opportunity for children to practice being present, communicating clearly, regulating themselves and adjusting when something doesn't go as planned.
No previous horse experience is required.
With only four participants, this is intentionally different from a traditional extracurricular. There is time to build relationships, notice individual strengths and create meaningful experiences with the horses.
$650 for the program (9 hours)

For young people finding their footing, figuring themselves out and learning to take the reins.
Wild & Wise offers a different kind of space to explore questions of identity, values, and interdependence.
The early teenage years can be a complicated landscape. Independence is growing, friendships are changing, emotions can run high, and young people are beginning to ask bigger questions about who they are and how they want to show up in the world.
Working alongside horses provides an opportunity to practice communication, boundaries, emotional regulation, confidence and decision-making in a setting that is active, relational and grounded in the present moment.
Horses are remarkably honest teachers. They respond to body language, consistency, confidence and emotional state—not to appearances or expectations. This gives young people an opportunity to experiment, make mistakes, try again and discover what helps them create connection.
Sessions combine hands-on equine experiences with guided reflection and therapeutic activities designed to help participants connect what they learn with life beyond the barn.
No previous horse experience is required.
There is no expectation that participants arrive as "horse people." Curiosity is enough.
With a maximum of four participants, Wild & Wise offers young people something increasingly rare: a small, supportive space where they can step away from screens, expectations and social pressure, spend time outside, connect with horses and other young people, and simply be themselves.
